The scope text was read and no clause in it rules a field out. That is not a guarantee — read the call before you commit to it.

You are reading one call. 1,058 are open right now.

A search matches words. It cannot know what your institution works on. Give the name and every open call is ranked against it — this one included.

The ranking arrives by email: that is what the address is for. Deleted within 30 days, not an account, not a list. What we keep, and why.

Scope

Expected Outcome: Project results are expected to contribute to all of the following expected outcomes: all relevant stakeholders, including consumers, economic and social economy operators and waste managers, have an improved understanding of the technical, environmental, economic and social challenges and benefits to circularity in the footwear industry; economic operators and waste managers are provided with evidence-based, innovative, cost-effective, and scalable solutions that improve the management of end-of-life footwear products, valorise post-consumer footwear waste materials and increase the circularity of the value chain; consumers have access to user-friendly solutions to correctly dispose of end-of-life footwear, thus reducing landfill, improving sustainability practices, supporting them in making more conscious choices, and contributing to climate change mitigation and adaptation by reducing waste and promoting circular economy practices. Scope: The transition to a circular economy requires innovative solutions to manage end-of-life products, including footwear, which can have significant environmental and climate impacts if landfilled and not properly collected, sorted, and recycled. In line with the EU's ambitious circular economy targets and policies, such as the Waste Framework Directive and the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, this topic aims at improving the circularity of the footwear value chain and reducing the environmental footprint of end-of-life post-consumer footwear, whilst promoting a more regenerative and restorative approach to the footwear value chain. Proposals should: assess the technical, environmental, economic and social challenges and benefits linked to the transition of the footwear industry towards circularity, particularly in the collection, sorting and recycling of post-consumer footwear waste; develop and test new methods and technologies that facilitate the collection, sorting, preparation for reuse and recycling of post-consumer footwear products, integrating digital tools (including AI) and the use of the Digital Product Passport to enable reuse and recycling, and minimise the release of hazardous chemicals and microplastics during the recycling process; explore and develop innovative business models that enable the transition towards a circular and sustainable footwear value chain, promote the uptake of design for preparing for reuse and recycling, enable the development of take-back solutions and stimulate informed consumer choices and sustainable consumption patterns; develop and test innova…

Who coordinated them

Coordinating an EU project is a demanding, specific job. These organisations have done it on this topic line before.

Draxis Research Ventures Astiki Mi Kerdoskopik · EL The Equator Company Sa · PT

This is the shape, not the consortium. It says how many partners these projects had and what kinds of organisation were in them. It does not know whether your idea needs the same mix, who is available, who is already committed elsewhere, or how the work and the budget should be divided. Those are judgement calls on a specific proposal, and no amount of public data answers them.

Building the actual consortium — finding the partners, agreeing the roles, and writing it so it survives an evaluation — is what Scientific Network Management does. Free either way; the radar does not change if you never ask.

Get told when something changes

Most institutions find out about a call with three weeks left. We write when something opens, moves or closes that fits what you work on, with the deadline, the fit and the funder's own exclusion clauses quoted. Nothing in a quiet week. Free, and one click to leave.

Starting from the programme you are reading: Horizon Europe (HORIZON) — change it below if you like.

Leave the second box empty and you get whatever opened or changed recently, closing soonest. Fill it in and it ranks against your words instead: that is the difference between a list and a shortlist.

Scientific Network Management will send you the current list for these terms, and after that only what changes: a call that opens, a deadline that shifts, a clause that rules you out. Nothing is sent when nothing has moved. One click to stop, in every message.

One confirmation email and nothing else until you click it. No tracking pixels, no sharing, one click to unsubscribe.

Clearing the bar is not what is scarce. Rank is, and rank starts with the call you enter.

A funding strategy reads your institution's own published record against the calls that are open, and says in writing which are worth the year and which to decline, with the reason for each.
